The Copal tree of Peruvian origin gives us resins with pleasant aromas similar to a mixture of herbs. Since ancient pre-Hispanic cultures, Copal has been used for purification, protection and as a connector of divine energy. The beautiful box contains eight sticks of incense, each burning for about 60 minutes. These incense sticks contain pure Copal, which, like Palo Santo, comes from Peru. This resin is known in South America for its purifying effect. The tree from which this resin comes from even belongs to the same 'family' as that of Palo Santo and is characterized by a fresh woody scent.
